Ashley E Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked in various settings including community mental health, crisis response, corrections, counter-extremism, and cults. In addition to individual, couples, families, and group therapy she has provided training for mental health professionals, churches, universities, NASW, and other community groups on extremism with a particular focus on children raised in extremist groups. She has a particular interest in neuroscience and its role in helping us understand the impact of trauma to facilitate meaningful, personal growth. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and beloved cats and dog, exploring new places, going for hikes, and Yoga.
